Parwati (ENG, RUS & INDO pattern)
Parwati (or Parvati) is the wife of the Hindu god Shiva and the mother of Ganesha. I chose this name for this pattern because it’s also my sister’s name, so whenever I see this design I remember her.
I also found that goddess Parwati is often painted with 4 arms, holding a lotus flower in one of her hand. So this is another reason why I chose Parwati.
This is my 4th pattern & my first coaster pattern. The design is inspired from a lotus flower, consists of 15 rounds. All abbreviations & special stitches are explained in the pattern detail. Suggested hook = 1.50 mm, suggested thread = No.5, 100 gr. By using the suggested the result will be 14 cm in diameter.
